Some friends went tuna fishing this weekend…brought over a couple pieces. Oil, salt and pepper…seared on a hot frying pan (90 seconds one side then 60 seconds the other). The wife never had tuna steaks…she can cross that off of the list.
When the world around you is falling to shit...you gotta stop and ground yourself. Draft latte and a meal I'll never make for myself. Send it!
at home loafing today while truck is in the shop, so I made one of the very few meatless dinners I actually like. Black bean cakes, Spanish rice and cole slaw.

grilled venison tenderloin Ramp/Chanterelle gravy on mashed Yukon Golds and green bean casserole, vino to wash it down. If I'm ever to be executed, this will be my last supper.
Venison jerky for snacking and venison stew for dinner. GFs away, so I get to cook what I want this week. Then its off to deer camp.
