Well we caught and cleaned fish. Guess what you do next, dats right cook them!
It’s been a minute since I’ve had a ribeye so set it on counter to thaw to room temp for 6-7 hours, seasoned and fried in cast iron skillet in olive oil till internal temp in 128-136 range. Turned out tender and tasty.

My wife had a busy day yesterday making a pile of homeade pasta for us. Man was it delicious for supper with them homeade sourdough rolls!!! I sure didn't mind tearing into it after butchering 7 chickens, 2 hogs, and 4 deer. Talk about a good day with good groceries.
Home made fresh pasta kicks ass. I have a pasta roller, but I'm mostly too lazy to use it very often. You would think my Dago wife would be able to make fresh pasta in her sleep.

Osso Bucco, again, but with beef shanks this time. Beef shanks are better than venison in this recipe, in my opinion, now that I have made it both ways. Lots more bone marrow.

Venison backstrap Dianne with roasted brussels.
Not dinner, just an afternoon snack. Kroger had wild caught "jumbo" scallops on sale yesterday and I couldn't pass them up. So dang good!
Homemade French onion soup, beef vegetable and barley soup and homemade bread.

I basically follow this recipe. I used merlot and homemade beef stock instead of consume.
Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
