Salmon alfredo with lemon zest, capers and chives.
Cast iron fried blackened chicken breast and mushies in olive oil and mashed taters with shredded cheddar cheese and side salad.
Venison loin seared in beef tallow, sour cream and chive mashed potatoes, green bean casserole. Tanqueray and tonic to wash it down. If I ever wind up on death row, this will be my last supper.

Fri night with the old fellas, I'm the youngest, smoked a venison roast and made some horseradish dip.
Bonus points for anyone that guesses the weapon system represented in the stogie tray.

Yep AF member, and the dip is 1/2 olive oil mayo. 1/2 prepared horseradish mixed with a good portion of fresh ground paper.

In honor of the 2023/24 season closing, I made my wife’s favorite for dinner. Deer burgers in the cast iron. It’s a fairly greasy fuggin mess that my bowels will pay for while fishing tomorrow, but they’re damn good lol

Glad you liked it. She made it again and I enjoyed it even more as a leftover. Kinda like a meatloaf, but good. Lol

I'm still manning the kitchen for the next few weeks while my wife is down. Last night I cooked us some deer cubed steak, homeade biscuits, homeade mashed potatoes, home canned green beans, and gravy made with fresh jersey milk. Talk about a good meal to end the day with!
