Thats awesome Ricer!! congrats to your son, and to you!! I have been on many calls with the New Concord FD and Brent runs a tight department there, so for your son to receive those awards is a great accomplishment!

You're right about Brent running a tight ship. He looks at like its almost a paid department. Which it is partially now. But ya gotta give him credit, NCVFD has always been one of the top departments in the area.

So earlier today I was sitting here on the computer and said to the wife " Mind if I get another gun?" The wife looks at me and says " Sure, I wouldn't mind if you got a gun and wouldn't mind if it was a pistol like the last one you had"

Set back at the thought she said SURE I didn't even know how to respond at first lol. I told her I didn't want a pistol but needed another long gun. When I asked her if she was SURE she says "I never had a hunter in the house growing up or even had guns in the house while growing up so, I don't even know how many you need to hunt the things you hunt" Being the guy I am I told her, "I need another one and that would do for now"

Looks like as soon as I have time I will be getting my scoped muzzy combo :)

I picked up 3 lone wolf sticks for 20 bucks at goodwill this evening.

Sweet find. Some of them are doing auctions now on some of the good finds. I picked up a shoebox full of baseball, football, and basketball cards yesterday for 21 bucks. All from the mid 80's to early 90's. I looked at them real quick in the car and found a Jose Canseco rookie card.

I also picked up this silver serving dish for 2 bucks. It was black with tarnish. Has about $130 just in silver. I've also made about 250 bucks scrapping pewter cups, ashtrays, and coasters so far.

Nice finds Joe. Can't beat a good deal and make money off of it.

Yep. An eBay app helps too. I'm probably sitting on 2-300 in lead crystal also when looking at eBay sales. The pewter brings $4 a pound at my yard. I've also scrapped brass candle sticks and aluminum pieces. The silver platter was a great find though.
