I did just get to hear the heart beat for the first time. Little sum beech was pounding away! 150 was the heart rate and it was coming from a good 6-7" below her belly button...

After spending the first five days of my long break cleaning and moving in family, I finally was able to get out and enjoy the last two. Wednesday I went to SCO, where Milo hooked me up with new threads and a bow shooting better than it has for the last two years. Can't thank him enough for the work he did and the hospitality he showed while I was there! Also got to visit with Huckwhile I was there. Yesterday, I spent 12 hours fishing a couple new ponds at AEP. Ended the day with 50 fish between the two of us. The biggest fish of the day was 2.5lbs, but we had fun! Back to work tonight, gotta work the next 12 out of 14 days.

Glad to hear you got the bow shooting well and got to enjoy some time out on the water! Always sucks going back to work after a nice break!

Sean- Your boy is a riot!

Greg- Sounds like some good fishing and SKO bow time!

Jesse- I am with Milo. They are well worth going to. Watching the little Roush grow and learning a little bit each visit is pretty cool. Hearing the heartbeat, watching them move around, everything about it is special. Well worth the time! Glad to hear things are moving along well!

In a couple hours we are heading to Limaland. A couple of Nascar drivers are racing there tonight. Erin has free passes for St Ritas night. We get a free meal for the night, and free racing action! Should be a good time for the family. We don't make it to too many of these shows as it is not cheap. It has been years since Erin went to the races with me, so watching the show with the whole family will be good. Hoping the Andy King/Hicks Lawn Services 99 car has a good night in the stock car class!

Ordered 6 of the 8GB San Disk SDHC memory cards for my cams the other day from Amazon. Got them in the mail today and just opened the mailer....I have 8 of them. Now that is TOO good right there.

Sean, that convo was priceless!

Jesse, I agree with the guys, try to make most of the doctor visits, pretty cool experience for both of you. Congrats

Goodluck J, hope you slay em!

Glad to hear Eric got your bow all set up Greg! You've gotta be excited and anxious to start shooting again!

Nothing better than several pan filled fillets of bluegill Drake. Hope you slay em.

Looking forward to some TC pics Adam! Hope that big 8 is still around.

Garrett snagged Ken Schrader's autograph last night. Was going to try to get Kenny Wallace also but Wallace talked to the commentator the whole autograph session. Schrader won the feature but not by a ton. One of the locals gave him a good run for his money. Good racing. Even Erin enjoyed it and talked about going back. That surprised the heck out of me. Unfortunately the "Andy King 99" broke a tie rod. He started 8th, moved to 4th and was looking good. Probably would have been his first top 3 finish this year if not for the breakage. That's racing though.

Spent the day at the ball field, then got the important part of my mowing done. Enjoying a Corona on the back deck before we head to town for dinner. Family reunion on the wife's, father's side tomorrow, then our 3rd game of the season for adult league. Plan to get up early to check cams and set up an experiment. Damn good weekend so far!

Well cooking some burgers on the grill right now. Started sipping a twelve of yeungling at 11 this morning and there is only 2 left. I thinking time for a refill. Spent the day tying flies and working on finishing the Stemmler restoration. Always a good day.

Sean your convo with your son cracked me up. Got to love those things.

Jesse be sure you don't miss those appointments. Those are memories you won't forget and that is what.lifes all about. Believe me I know from the other side. DONT MISS THEM!

Had dinner with my rents and the wife tonight. Burgers from cows we raised and butchered, beans and fries. Watched the first half of Game 7 with dad, and even stood on the deck to see the international space station go by. I had to laugh at my dad who has given me shit for my iPhone addiction when his iPhone went off with an alert for the space station! He loves that thing but would never admit it!

Went to the wedding for my wife's friend today. On the way we hit a hill and the Mrs said "ew, that made my winer tickle" in reference to Sean's son's story. I updated her on the latest story Sean had told me and she laughed. Then she told me about taking the kids to Walmart. Apparently my 8yr old grabbed a swimming noodle and did the "Happy Gilmore" in the aisle. Look what you guys have to look forward to as the boys get older. Drake? Adam Nickle? Who else has a young son? Lmao

Fun stuff going on guys.... I like listening too you younger parents and what goes on with the kids.... I can relate too most of it lol..... Boys are a trip and will most definitely keep you on your toes lol.... Girls are a a bigger chore too keep track of most of the time lol... And when I said that it's not what's on the surface but what's underneath that keeps them one step a head of us lol.....

Well the tournament went well for us, caught fish all day and culled at least two limits of fish, unfortunately couldn't cull the two smallest fish which were 15" that put us in second place with a little over 14 lbs and the winner just over 15 lbs for five fish...... All in all a great day fishing just not a money maker and trust me it's not all about that rotflmao Otherwise I would have given up years ago lol...... We did move up on the winners bracket and have two more tournaments for that too see who gets the braggin rights for that lol.... No real money just braggin rights I beat out a buddy yesterday and have another good friend I'm up against for the next tourney and we're already smack talking each other lmao We've known each other for years and have fished together many times so it's all in fun.....

I need too make a better effort of taking pictures lol.... I dumped all the fish after the weigh in and as I was walking back to put the bag in the boat I realized shit no pictures.... Oh well the age senility thing is gaining on me lol or at least that's my story hahahahahaha

Phil, I have met and talked with Kenny Schrader and he's one of the classy drivers who will drive 500 miles too race a no name race because he loves the competition and will take time too talk too anyone who wants too listen lol.... There's a few of hem around still but don't look for them with big name sponsors on the suits.....
