A TOO Wedding? State Law Requires it to be scheduled AFTER deer season........:smiley_champagne:

HA. My only stipulation when we got married was not during deer season and we had to be back from our honeymoon at least a week before the season. We were married on the 6th and we were back from Mexico with time to spare before the season started!!!

Good stuff Gordo. Time for a TOO house warming!!! :smiley_clap:

What's good? Watching my son play football in the backyard. It took me back to doing the same thing when I was his age. Line up, get the snap, throw a long bomb then catch it, make a few moves to avoid the imaginary defense, and spike the ball in the end zone!! Too bad more kids around here don't play outside... guess I better go out and join him. :smiley_bril:

Good stuff Sean!

What's good here? I just signed the last contract in a 7 month quest to sign up 11.5 miles of pipeline. The section I worked on was BRUTAL and there were moments I feared for my job. Thankfully I was able to get it finished and my 6 year record of signing every contract we've HAD to have is still intact. It's a major weight off my shoulders!!!

Perched in a tree. Beautiful sunrise and day so far. Watched a small buck take his time feeding across a picked corn field. Watched a yearling feed along an edge, sprint across same field, then feed on other edge. Amusing but uneventful and at a distance. Oh but what a beautiful morning to be thankful for!

Depends on what all still needs done. Boned-out 2 pork shoulders, mixed and ground everything twice, washed grinder, scooped and pressed burgers while Diane wrapped. Took about 4 hrs but we took our time and plenty of breaks. If you've never done this, it is SWEET later on. Just pop them apart with a butter knife and throw them in the pan.

With some luck, tonight will be TOO TOO good! But for now, it is already going to be TOO good!!! :pickle:

I've waited all season to get my wife in the woods and tonight will be the first time we've shared a stand/blind together since muzzleloader earlier this year. She will be 36 weeks pregnant tomorrow and we are on a quest to kill her 10th deer in 10 years tonight. We started dating in January of 2003 and she killed her first deer, a doe, with a muzzloader during gun season that year. In the years that have followed, we have managed to kill at least one deer per season, but never more than one. Last year on October 23rd, she killed her first deer with a compound and that was a special hunt for both of us. But I have a feeling tonight could be the best hunt ever if it works out!!!

I got home yesterday from a few days of hunting with the X-bow family. Despite not firing a shot, I had a great time. They are great people and treated me like family. The folks I have met so far from this site have all been top notch in my book. We seen quite a few deer, but I just never had a shot I wanted. Diane cooked some awesome food and Rick worked his ass off to move some deer. It was a pleasure to meet Z as well.
