Enjoying some Old Ezra 7 year.....after this probably some other bourbon haven't decided what yet.
Stopped at a buddy’s after work yesterday, he had this sitting out and I had a taste, will definitely be getting a bottle next time I’m at Kroger.
Some Bib and Tucker tonight. Had never tried it before, bought on a whim. Its different and doesn't taste as complex or as old as its age statement would lead me to believe it should. Checked out the review on Breaking bourbon (i normally agree with them on most) and its similar.

I was in the liquor store today and noticed the guy had Blantons. I asked about it and he said he just got 6 bottles in. I asked him what the price was up to (last year it was $75 then a couple months later went to $100 per bottle). He told me it’s now going for $130 a bottle. Three years ago it was plentiful and you could get it for $30. Wonder if it’ll ever come back down.
I agree with you on the Breaking Bourbon guys. That’s an invaluable resource IMO as far as deciding whether on not to drop some coin a particular bottle

Found this today and it’s not bad. I don’t have the refined palate that you guys have but as far as bourbons go, I like it.

I have a bottle of that right now, too sweet to do any mixing but damn good on the rocks

Was in a new town today, so I hit the highest ranked liquor store and had a look around. This stuff tastes like you took a bite out of a an apple tree, which I like and it pairs well 1:1 with ginger ale.
That is the most hippiest thing I've ever seen on TOO. Congratulations, as you have just moved that bar very high.
