Bookers 2022 01 for me tonight.

Just got the confirmation that my made to order bar sign for the gazebo is being shipped this afternoon. Should receive it in a couple days. It’s made of aluminum and is 24”x16” in size. It’ll be behind the little bar I’ll build under the gazebo. I plan on implementing several barrels under the bar to which helped me come up with the name.……..skoal……

Bought this today. Something different and tame for a change. Just over 86 proof. Not a bad sip. Nice finish…

This beast weighed 16.66 pounds before trimming. Went on Trag at 6 pm at 200 degrees and should hit 175 internal temp tomorrow morning around 7-8 and that’s when I’ll wrap in paper and continue the smoke till 203 internal temperature is reached. Plan on resting it for 3-4 hours before slicing for party at 6 tomorrow night.

Picked up these 3 today, never tried any of them before this evening but heard good things. The hype is real, I like Michters small batch a lot and not typicality a rye fan but the michters rye was good. The red wood empire was great at $32 as well! Not sure why I waited so long on the russels 10 year but it didn’t disappoint either.

Had the Michters SB and Russ10yr and both are great shelfers! I’ll have to try that Redwood Empire sometime….
