Finally !!!

Its definitely unique.. a solid classic bourbon with the caramel, vanilla sweetness youd expect... and then behind that you get that fruity, herbal taste of the port. Nice smooth finish... I wouldn't mind trying it at a little higher proof.

I've had the glenmorangie la Santa, which is a port wine finished scotch, I definitely prefer the Angel's envy. The sweetness of the bourbon works better with the port.

I also picked up a bottle of Jameson cask mates stout... irish whisky finished in stout barrels... the beer guys would really like that. They also have one finished in IPA barrels... maybe I'll try that one next

I’ve had the IPA and for not being much a beer guy, it’s pretty damn great.

Saw this at the store last time I was there but didn't get it. Couldnt pass it up this time. Dont have a lot to add due to I prefer beer over whiskey usually. Tastes really good. Thought I'd give it a try and see how the wife likes it. 😋😂

Have you tried the cold brew yet? If you’re a coffee fan you might like it. I do. 🥃👍🏼

I've been watching that but haven't sprung for it yet. Figured it was either going to be good or amazingly bad.

I wasn't that impressed, fairly harsh and not much depth of flavor. Its my go to cooking bourbon now.

I've finished off a few bottles recently. Was lucky have now have a nice little stash of Eagle Rare and found a bottle of the Henry McKenna 10 year BIB.

The High West American Prarie (Pronghorn on the label) is still my favorite daily sipper.
