Who's ready for turkey season.

Congrats on finishing strong in bow season, I enjoyed following along with your ups and downs this season.

Thanks man. It seems the last couple of years someone has told me they'd take me out and show me, has yet to happen. Lol. I like having a couple around the house, they are cool to listen to. Waking up hearing them is pretty cool and will ease anyone's mind.

ive got to places with bearded hens my goal is to shoot one of them over shooting a tom, one is a real hag and every time shes around and i call she responds and cuts the toms off. shes prolly the most vocal hen ive ever heard. anyone else on here ever kill a bearded hen.

I've never killed one, I could of last year though. This hen looks like she's 100 years old lol. Idk, I like spurs😁

K walked by the table tonight and snaps to attention. "Hey, what's this?" Told her Cabelas sent us a new magazine so we could shop for turkey hunting stuff. She asked if she could look at it, so I gave her a pen and told her to cicle what she thought we needed. First page... "Well, I need a turkey call cause I don't have one." Circles Zink Nite Owl locator call. Flips to decoys and circles hen decoy... "we need this so the turkeys don't know we're hunting them." A minute of silence, then: "Hey dad, you think we need a new turkey tent to hide from them turkeys?" Sure pal, whatever you think...

I like to have fun outside. She likes to have fun outside with me. Might as well nuture that. Especially if it means new calls, decoys and tents! 😂
