Finally! Got a Bobcat pic on our farm! Didn't think so at 1st because of the head but the inside of his legs and the tail looking bobbed is a giveaway.

Well checked a camera that I had soaking since July. Found the camera lying on the ground. It was ripped off my mount. Figured it was a trespasser. Turns out this guy showed up and decided to rip it off the tree the day after I put the camera up. Rest of the pictures were of the tree tops.

A few friends who’ve placed cameras in northern Pennsylvania have also had bears tear them from the tree…usually the first time they see it. I guess they are curious (like Dave) or detect scent left on the cam.

I absolutely hate bears. They are just big kids. They destroy everything. I lose 5-10 cams a year to bears. Even with bear boxes. I started putting them 10-15 feet up trees. The bears climb to check them out but can’t destroy them

It’s amazing how much damage a bear can do to a cornfield…sometimes in only a couple of nights.

Pa! Our area is over run. We have shot 24 bears in 4 years on that farm and it hasn’t even put a dent in them
