Your second choice?

Don't know about you, but I'm starting to have second thoughts on this once great country of ours. Over the past 15 years or so I've seen a decline in civility, work ethic, resilience and a huge increase in mental illness, woke bullshit, division, identity politics to the point where I'm starting to not recognize the United States of America. I don't see an end and I'm usually an optimistic kind of guy. So my wife and I are considering leaving the country. Question is, where? I know a couple ex Pats in Belize and they love it. What would be your second choice if you had to flee?

I don’t think we’ve seen anything yet, I think the wealth gap is going to dramatically increase in the next 40 years and the economy will be similar to the US Industrial Revolution era. A world war where we defeat China and Russia might be the only thing that saves us. But I agree with J I’ll never leave best place on earth

If I leave the country. . . It will be to go further into the country I already live in. I will join relatives in less populated areas. I will pull my share of the work load.

I'd be hard pressed to name a country that I think would hold the promise of not going batcrap crazy in the next 3,4,5 decades. At one time Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Africa were countries I would have considered as possible if flawed plan B but no more. Nothing in central or south America is politically stable.

Moving to a low population area of the US is probably still the best option but Randy Weaver proved even that isn't a guarantee.

Or maybe we pool our resources and buy an island, Call it the Island of TOO, make Joe the king, and stock the island with deer and turkeys. :ROFLMAO:

I agree that this country isn’t the same good ole USA it once was with all the exposed ramifications of what woke professors and educators have done to minds of many of our youth. Many don’t know this country’s history but will respond quickly to what they think is wrong with it. They just regurgitate the same shit they’ve been fed by far leftists agitators, IMO.
That being said, I think they are in the minority for now but after we’re all gone that might change in the next few decades and beyond. I will stand my ground and hunker down and try my best to protect my family even if comes with the ultimate price. God bless America!
