Tucked in along a clear cut and bean field. Heard a few shots, no movement yet.

She picked her own spot and it all came together at 7:05. She had just fallen asleep on my shoulder when I woke her up and told her a deer was headed our way. He came down a scrape line and then turned into the woods leaving her a 25 yard shot. Had to move the tripod to get her set up since she preferred to sit on my lap. She made a perfect shot and he went about 50 yards. She said dad my heart was beating out of my chest. Lol I said mine too! What a morning.

That's part of it as we all know. Hopefully she learns from the experience

Corn is still up all around us, hundreds upon hundreds of acres. Cameras really stopped 3-4 days ago. Ty and I hunted with bow yesterday evening, will do the same today, he wanted to sleep in again.

Hope they start moving and we see some more success today with all these kiddos out. Congratulations to the ones above that got it done!!
