Joe, similar situation happened to my buddy about 6 years ago. He hit the "shit tank" and we waited about 6 hours. As we were walking back to look for him we saw him bedded down and still alive. We backed out... waited til the next morning and went back in and he had only moved about 10 yards. Give it time. I would maybe wait til the last couple hours of daylight to take a walk down and look for him.
