Glad your season is turning up for you, Mike!
My boys are horrible. I have three, maybe four that look like they have thrown a rock. One of my best players is legally blind...but he works harder than any of the other boys and it shows! I have two boys that are really good, the blind boy, and Mason are also fair. How the heck do kids get to 7 or 8 years old without basic hand-eye coordination? Good grief. I can only hope the other teams are as horrible. On the bright side, most of the boys will still have a great time as they really seem to enjoy picking grass in the outfield!
Watch it bro, I'm 22 and still clumsy as fugg! My baseball career ended after 1 year of coach pitch and an intramural camp. I didn't get on base all week, though after popping a ball on the last day, the first baseman thought it would be wise to charge me down the line. I flattened the kid, thought I should still get to be on first base, the kid was sputtering with the wind knocked out of him...and the next week was intramural football...never looked back
