Good luck on the shoulder. Hopefully you will be ready by the season. If not, I guess it would have to be crossbow time for me. Never shot one, but I would start without hesitation if my shoulder was screwed up.

Spent a few hours this morning at a farm I hunt in PA. The purpose was to just have a great time with Landon and my FIL sense Landon is a fan of everything farm related...

He had a blast sitting on the dozer, driving the tractor with Dad, watching two other tractors cutting hay, seeing the horses, sheep...just an awesome father-son morning.

Went riding with a couple buddies and their old ladies.. Rode down to Athens grabbed a bite to eat, hung out for a while..Rode back into town around dark, watched the game at roosters, then three of us went back to the house and got chitty drunk.. No one to yell at me for screwing around on my bike, nor who I hung out with.. Good times!..

Fished Thursday evening, Friday evening, and Saturday morning. Caught hundreds of bluegills, but only 25 or so keepers total for the weekend. Hoping to hit the lake a couple times this week to get enough for a fry.

Finally got the swimming pool cleared up after it being cloudy for 2 weeks, it was really starting to aggravate me.

Did a little grilling last night and go to spend the day swimming with the wife. Pretty good weekend!

Looks like some good weekends had by All!!

Same thing here, hate to see Monday morning roll in after all the fun from the past two days. Daughter did just great at her dance recital (very confident & commanding), son went 3 for 3 hitting on Saturday and his fielding is improving, Sunday we got family pictures in the morning which we haven't done in several years, then wrapped up shooting with fellow TOOzers in the afternoon. Good stuff all around!

Rainy Monday morning and I took advantage of it! Cleaned out the pole barn, did the brakes on the wife's vehicle front and rear, put up some pallet racking at the 65 property, organized the building on 65, juggled kids, and even managed to mow the lawn this evening. Have been needing to get those two buildings cleaned up, cleaned out, and organized all spring. Not done yet, but it sure feels better to have a productive day on a rainy Monday than to sit around and complain about not getting anything done. Even got the camper out of my driveway and parked at the 65 property. Hopefully the rest of the week cooperates with weather and we can knock out several extra jobs on top of the regular list. I need to crank out a ton of work in the next 2-3 weeks.

The boys get batting practice in the back yard at least several times a week. I'm not sure how many balls we started with but it was a bunch. Over the last few weeks we were getting shorter and shorter on balls at the end of practice. Same story this evening. All four of the family were looking in the tall weeds on the edges of the property when the dog comes out of the weeds with one. :smiley_chinrub: Good boy...find the ball Cain. He come out with another. Good boy...find the ball. Anyway he ends up finding 6 balls that we couldn't. Should have thought of using him sooner.:smiley_blackeye:

Funny stuff Schu. Good for you to get the whole family involved!

Garrett rocked the ball tonight! First ball he hit was over the heads of the outfielders before hitting the grass. He took off running hard, got to second and was watching the other players and ball. We were cheering like crazy and the third base coach was waving him on, but Garrett was in such awe and watching where the ball went that he missed the signals and stayed on second. I am not so sure the coach wouldn't have waved him home. It was funny stuff and I was seriously proud of the improvement from last year. Three singles after that. Probably could have had a double on one but base runners in front of him never went to third and he had to stay on first. 4/4! TOO good!

I bought a new digital SLR yesterday. We needed a new camera and I wanted something that that could take good action photos for the kids sports. I ended up getting a Nikon d5100 with an 18-55mm lens and a 55-300 mm lens. Looking forward to snappings some pics.

Lots of good cameras out there anymore. I have heard good things about that one Schu. Enjoy it now before they are grown and gone. That is what we are trying to do as well.

Good start to the day. Talked to the sweeper guy as he clocked out at 5. Two employees rolling out now at 7. Breakfast is done. Dogs are fed. Kids are sleeping. Wife is finish night 3 of 3 in a row. Garrett has his last day of Cub Scout Day Camp today. Two more employees rolling out at 8. No ball games tonight. Should finish a job before noon and take the afternoon to have some "me" time. Hoping to spray the weeds on the 65 property and maybe swap trail camera cards in the late afternoon. Might not finish this way, but at 714am I am optimistic! Today is going to be a beauty!

Last weekend I finally got to shoot my bow after a long hiatus after having surgery on my neck for two herniated disk's. Was great to do, even though I had to crank it down two full turns before I could pull it back. Been a long week of running my daughter to softball practices, hitting and pitching lessons. My son had his last Little League game on Tuesday which they lost 9-6. This weekend we actually only have a closing ceremony for my son's Little League and that's it...like a mini vacation since my daughter doesn't have a tourney to be at!! Next weekend we won't be so lucky....

My wife must have really appreciated the new camera. I got a little reverse cowgirl followed by what I think I read Jesse refer to as the frogger.:pickle:
