Once I hit 50 do I take it all the way to RT. 7 and head north to Strouds Run. How far from Chilli is Strouds Run? Miles and minutes?

Ric, you drive all the way to Rt. 7 you have gone way too far! Taking 50 from Chilli, you will be on a two lane hwy until it intersects with rt 32. You'll then make a left on 32/50 and head east. It may be 10 miles or so from that point...don't really recall how far, but not long to Athens. Strouds is just east of Athens.

I will have several 11x17 copies of the Strouds Run PDF that is available online and shows the trails, local roads, and other need to know information about Strouds. I have also put together a topo that displays the boundaries of the park and the GPS coordinates to the campground. It is not as big as I would like it to be, but I will have several 11x17 copies of it as well. Our big printer is down right now, so that may be all I can provide. If we get it up and running, I will print off a big copy of the topo and an aerial. I will also have my laptop which has the topo program and Google Earth, so we can look at things more in depth on it if need be.

I cut a half truck bed full of firewood, so I don't have room for cornhole boards and I don't have any bags to begin with. If someone can bring a set, that would be sweet. If not, we'll just drink more beer around the fire!

No shit. I didn't realize that. Well done Rexy and whomever else!!! Will we need to get someone to open or unlock that gate when we arrive or should it be good to go?

I'll have my wife unlock the group camp gate Thursday. Will any of the camper cabin folks be arriving on Thursday? If so, my wife will have to get them keys. You don't need to bring tables as there are pick-nick tables throughout the campground.

As for water fowl, yes, you can hunt on Dow Lake. I have a small outboard and trolling motor and battery, (not as fast but not as loud) for you guys to get around the lake. We also have canoes you can borrow.

That's about right. Everything you could need is literally on the other side of the ridge from camp, but its a trek to get to it all!

The Kroger on East State has an amazing selection of beer if anyone wants to stop by there to stock up. Very easy to find.
