I quit at 1030. Even in my body heater suit, my feet froze out. Nothing was moving. Besides, when ya gotta pee, it's a bitch getting in & out of that thing.

Oh so nice. . . .until you have to pee. I feel your pain Kevin. lmao

Kick butt Brock! Looking forward to it.

Momma had to work. Kids were cancelled. Now I am in full blown drill instructor mode. Dang kids on my nerves so I am putting them to work. I was up half the night with salt trucks. Tired, and grumpy since I don't get to hunt. lol

Ok, after I posted my last comment, I went up to grab a sandwich. I looked out the slider & saw a deer trotting out past my blind. I figured a buck was following, so I grabbed a sweater & boots & ran out. I wanted to intercept him, but all I saw was another doe with the 1st. I waited, but nuttin. At least I can say I saw somehing now. Yay for me....lol

Time to go back out.

You da man brock! Congrats dude.

One solo doe for me so far. Aboutto change tree's after a short break. Also saw shit tons of tracks leading into bedding area.

Contemplating whether or not to go mobile this evening. Id only b about 75 yards from where ive been spending my evening hunts. Think im going to do it. Think the does are about to be on to me. It will also give me a view of the other side where my shooter came up from. Only prob is it could b very tough to exit with out spooking anything. Hopefully by then it wont matter

Headed in to get some warm food and getting ready to head back out to another spot that has not been hunted yet this season. It is a little overlooked spot that should be good for something lol.

Didn't see many tracks in the fresh snow this morning so I wasn't feelin in for the spot I was setup in. Good spot just not now. Early season evening spot I think.

Good luck fellas!

Talked to a neighbor today who found sheds this winter from a 160-170ish deer with 13 scorable points not far from where I'll be tomorrow. Looking forward to sitting back there even more now!!!

Came in to property that I have only sat in twice. Finally all the corn is off. Brought in the millennium and lw sticks. Set this up and going to leave it for a all day sit on Thursday. In a pinch point between a cross field and cut corn field. Should be able to catch something moving through.

Had a great sit so far today. I'll go into more detail later.

Going against the grain. Normally i play the wind so it blows my scent away from direction I expect deer to come. I have some Code Blue estrous scent hanging with my scent blowing towards the deer. Trusting the Scent Smoker to cover me. Heavy doe area with few resident bucks. Probably a week early for this strategy. Big boys generally cruise thru here a week or so after I see majority of seeking activity on other properties. There are a couple weeks out of the season I think some risk is warranted. These are those two weeks. Minimal tracks in snow other than ditch tigers. Not sure I like my choice in woods but I am here now.

I hate crunchy snow when slowly walking in with minimal wind!

Let me know if you knock one down, I'll be up Thurs-Sunday hunting.

Well

That's all I can say about that. Took 4 days off for my deercation and seen 5 deer and only one of those was while on stand and out of range. Seen 0 deer yesterday and seen the same amount today. Good thing I have paid vacation or I would have sent a loss of wage report to the DNR for this BS.

I dont get paid vacation. Taking friday and monday off are on me. Maybe I'll try it if the dismal sightings continue. I might even try to get my money back for the tags I dont stand a chance to use.
