Trying to talk the boss man into letting us bail a little early today. Put the bow in the jeep just in case I'm successful. Lol.
What's up with this stinking wind? Bump at least 2 getting to my stand. Starting to think I'm under dressed.
I'm done. I sat since 0630 & nothing was heard or seen. I froze out. I work the next two days , so I dunno.
I'll try more evenings here and there, but I'm done with the daily grind. Two doe this morning.
Sounds like we had similar sits Mike. I saw a momma and her little one, it was a little colder than I had expected this morning with a constant breeze.

Skunked again, only squirrels at the metropark...pulled my stand as my time is up with that place on friday anyway....went to some private property and got skunked for a 9-noon sit....time to enjoy the family and Thanksgiving....thank God I can buy a turkey and don't have to kill one for the holiday or my family and I would starve.
Yeah, there would be quite a few of us in the handout line if we had to kill something. :smiley_depressive:
Nice evening to be in the woods. Slight breeze blowing across the last of the standing corn. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TOO All tomorrow.
I bailed this morning after a teething toddler kept me up most of the night. I may try a hunt Saturday morning, but I'm about done unless I can get one coming to corn consistently in January. Another year, another dose of tag soup.

Finally got out for the first time since the little man was born. Skunked. Didn't help that the knob next door was playing Rambo. Got down. Maybe later.

I am going out to a stand I haven't hunted in a couple weeks tomorrow morning and hope to see something. Killing one on Thanksgiving would be pretty sweet.

Going to a place that hasn't been hunted since Nov 7th. Hope the wind us good when we get there it always seems to swirl bad.
