Thx fellas.
Chad she went through the snare and had her in front of the back legs that is why she didnt choke out,must have been movi,g pretty fast down the trail.
Brock now that is funny stuff lol, but still cant get over just how many yotes we have in Ohio now.
I tell ya it has to have a big impact on the deer herd to think how many fawns they kill each year.

Rick is heading over in the morning to run my snare line and bringing Braydon along so should be a fun morning.
I need to readjust a few of my snares and try and get a couple more sets in where i saw some trails with yote tracks today.Looks like from the weather report alot of our snow will be gone next week which i like.
I prefer to snare them with no snow but cant always get what we want this time of year.

Had a blast on the snareline today,Rick and Braydon came over and we caught a big male.
This was the first one Braydon has seen alive in a snare and it sure put on a show when we were 80 yds out walking up on it,it was jumping and digging and when we got there it was barking at us and lunged at me once.
I know one thing,Braydon knew to stay out of that circle.lol
I let Braydon shoot it and gave it to him so he could get it tanned,the boy was smiling from ear to ear and i know it made his pawpaw happy.
The other pics are Braydon helping us dig a stake out and Braydon found out how hard that ground is, also Braydon with our reset on the same trail.
What a fun morning to have friends along and teach a kid a few things about the outdoors.
Braydon is lucky to have such a cool Grandpa.

Yep Phil a little wire on a limb helped him hold it there.lol
The yote was bigger than him but man did Braydon have fun.
