Lol, yea, ain't much room for fun over on the OS. Seems to be a younger crowd around here that still enjoy a laugh from watching someone get booted in the nuts, haha.

I'm not upset, just needed to stick up for myself before they got out of hand.

You did say you were going to crawl in to a coyote den. WTF did you expect?!? lmao Besides, if you head is getting gnawed on by a pissed off yote, it'll make it pretty easy to boot you in the nuts! :smiley_crocodile:

Ain't nobody getting out of hand. If I remember correctly you should be going in head first in a couple days, right? Have fun!

I agree, I just didn't want it to get out of hand. Yes, looking like next Monday morning. Thanks, I'm sure it'll be a rush even if it's empty.;)

Nobody putting you up to it. Nobody trying to run you off TOO. From an outside perspective, it sounds like, if anything, the guys are trying to talk you out of it for your own safety. You are confident you "should" be safe. Okay. No problem. Your choice.

Honestly? It seems as if the reason you are doing this is to observe and learn, the last thing you would want to do is enter the den. Whether there is a risk of injury or not, it will skew the results of any further studies because there will be nothing to study. Just seems pointless if entering the den will negate any further studies. It won't kill the coyotes unless you kill them beforehand. It will just push them onto someone else's property. Is this helping the deer? The plan just seems pretty flawed.

Just don't do it during the middle of the night, at first light, or dusk. There's a good chance nobody will be home.

I know I'm going to have to dig a little bit to be able to get into it. This might get pushed off until the ground thaws out a little bit. Looking like next Monday will be my first attempt at it though. I haven't seen the size of the hole in this particular den yet. We do know that it is an active den and that's the type I want to go into.

I'm not sure if I want o go in during daytime and noodle fish a couple or if I'll wait until night and go into a empty den. I will have another guy with me and a rope on my leg "just in case".

My original thought was a go pro on a dog. But I don't know of any dogs that would go into an active den.

I haven't seen a video posted yet so I assume your going next Monday the 9th?
