Caught another red fox today,a big male and released him using the catch pole.He just trotted out in the field and sat down to look back at us and went on his way.
He made a heck of a mess with all the digging he did while caught.
This is the most red fox i have seen in a long time around here.
Always a fun day when ya get to see a red up close.

They are a pretty critter. I would say you getting rid of them coyotes is the reason for the reds. Good job.

My buddy sent me this pic of a black yote he snared yesterday.

A little catch and release on a coon today.
He was happy to be on his way.
Sure was sloppy out there after all that rain, just hoping we dont get much snow later today.
Sounds like southern ohio is going to get the most snow this time around.

Been a little slow but had a coon and fox today.In the first pic you can see the fox behind the coon.
Got em both turned loose ok.
I think their are more red fox running around than yotes now which i dont mind.
My wife Lisa rode along today and she got to watch me turn them loose which she thought was pretty cool to see.
Seems to be slowing down on the yote catches so will probably finish up in two weeks.Has been a fun season.

Dick it is cool to let the reds go and am glad to be seeing so many of them this year. I am hoping it is because of all the yotes i have taken out.
