Same here dude. Once an addict, always one right?!? My biggest issue was eating too much, too often. I'm a bottomless pit sometimes. Not to mention I used to have the munchies all the time...

Are those hickies below your right shin? WTH
Just getting caught up here ya bunch of morons. Those are scars, I'll have you heard o know. One from where I wrecked my bike as s youngin and one where I got my leg pinned between a pipe bumper on a oilfield truck and s pumping unit.

Congrats on the weight loss Don!
Thanks for the congrats.
I'm just glad his winky is small enough that it didn't make the picture.
At least I didn't get stung by a honey bee at a certain TOO outing, have to go to the hospital, only to have them put a cold compress on my junk like you did. Haha.
It was s very tight angle lens I used also. Lol.

I Had a visit to the Dr yesterday and weighed in at 237lbs, which means I've gained 18lbs over the last 3 months that Ive been on all these steroids. Part of the problem is Ive been manning one of our small facilities and its like being in a fucking nursing home around here. Just me and 1 other guy and we are guilty of a lot of napping and snacking. So yesterday I stocked up on the sunflower seeds and haven't ate any junk food yet. Good news is another 2 weeks and I will be weened off the roids

I spent close to 12 weeks on a plateau at 220ish and finally broke through! I saw 216 on the scale yesterday morning. My wife remarked last night that my face looked skinnier. I carry a lot of weight in my thighs and lose it first, so most of the time it is hard to notice I even lost weight. Now that it appears I'm losing weight again, it will come off my face and chest/belly. My wife wants to lose 8 pounds to get her back to her high school weight, so we made a deal last night. I'm going to give in and do an Advocare 24-Day Challenge. Her challenge will be no pop, no tea and under 75 grams of carbs for 24 days in addition to a simple workout routine I'll give her comprised of body weight squats, burpees, push ups and curls. We leave for the beach on August 1 and she wants to be 127, I want to be 205. We shall see how it goes!

The wife and I both started the 24 day challenge on Monday. We head to the Dominican in early July. Her goal is 128 and I'm shooting for 170. Prior to starting the challenge, I'd lost 6 pounds from my heaviest weight ever of 190 and have continued to drop about 1 lb a day.

Good deal Scott.

I'm drinking 3-4 quarts of water a day and have all but stopped drinking pop. I also quit drinking beer through the week. My diet I has been on point, so I'm ready to tackle the challenge. I'm skeptical just by nature, so I hope to be proved wrong.

I think the big thing with the challenge is portion control and the use of fiber and water to create a feeling of fullness. I think a lot of the other stuff is just marketing BS. The structure is helping for sure and the fact that the wife and I are partners in this is a plus. However, I do miss stuffing my face with pizza!

This morning marked the start of day 9 of the challenge and I'm down 6lbs. to 178. Hit a small bump over the weekend, but seem to be back on track. Kind of worried about over indulging this weekend. Cotty ...any words of advice for Holiday weekends while on the challenge?

Suck it up buttercup?

On a more serious note, try to stay in the diet plan the best you can. You don't have to be a zealot about it but do your best.

Biggest issue will be calories from beer. All food will be fresh protein and plenty of fruits and veggies.

Down to 214. We leave for the beach on 8/1, so I have 8 weeks to get down to 200-205. Work is about to get crazy, so I'll be even more pressed for time. Time to dig deep and see what I'm made of...
