I've been fighting tendinitis for 6 months. My friend is a physical therapist and gave me some exercises and they help quite a bit. However it still flares up sometimes and it hurts like a mother.

Ice it until it's numb before doing any stretching of it... Dixie cups, half full of water, freeze to ice and tear the cup until the ice is exposed and then start applying it until it gets cold, numb and starts to tingle.... Always seemed to work the best... I've been thru this a half dozen times before and this time is way different then previous bouts....
Had carpal tunnel surgery two years ago and don't know if it's changed the severity/location of the pain because of it... We'll see Tuesday what the doc says...
Physical therapy always worked in the past.... Hopefully it'll work this time as well....

Now that sucks, ain't your casting arm...is it?

Yes it is, but casting and reeling doesn't affect it this time.... Fished Wednesday night and casting wasn't an issue at all... Just when I was turning my head looking around is when it would ache.... And that's after 800 mg of ibuprofen....

Sorry to hear on the truck giles, gotta pay to play!

Good luck J, hopefully just a stinger and not a pinched nerve or the like.

Dustin, that hurts just looking at that toe. Hope it's healing nicely!

I bled it the other night, soaked in Epsom salt, then poked at it with a needle, got most of the blood out. Its looking better. Ill spare everyone more pictures.

If Toyota came out with a heavy duty truck, they'd have my full attention.

From what I've seen of people who bad mouth them, they've never driven them and just emotions on a foreign manufacture steeling American jobs.... I was just as bad years ago and would of never seen myself driving one.... Times are changing....

Thanks. Sparing us the pictures is worthy of a TOO Good thread post! "Dustin kept his Fred Flintstone toe to himself." lmao

What helps me is using a bike tire inner tube and wrapping it around the affected area tight until numb. Takes the pain away. The stretching excersises are what has actually mostly fixed the issue. I had a really hard time benching for 3 months until I did the stretches.
