Finelyshedded and Fullbore shed finds of 2016-2017 season

This weather has me thinking the same thing, but it's still early yet. I had the opportunity to walk my neighbors food plot that borders our property. I told him that I would have bet a paycheck that I would have found at least one shed. BIG disappointment to not find one! Mid March will be when the gloves come off! Lol
I broke down and paid one of my guys to give me a hand pulling stands. We were able to drive the UTV to each of them. He was pretty much there for safety reasons in case I fell. I HATE paying someone to do this but he hasn't gotten many hours with no snow this winter. Gotta throw them some easy money now and then. While I did have it easy compared to your required efforts, it DOES feel good having them pulled Ric.
Ya I pulled 3 stands a couple weeks ago and tossed them in the bed of the ranger
. Dust that quad off, Crayola!

Hope your fully healed from that buddy and you have no lingering issues. That sounded like it was pretty serious and could have really done a number on you. Your still covering ground looking for sheds and hauling stands around like a 20 year old, so it sounds like all is well!
Me and my dad found 2 more today..an old one I had to have walked by last year and a fresh one..although I've found 3 fresh ones I too think it's way too early to be looking for the area I'm in but it's hard to refrain myself with the nice weather we've had lately! Mid March is normally when most have dropped in my areas..any ideas why it seems bucks drop earlier in the southern counties compared to northern counties or is it just my misconception?
Could be misconception but I have always felt the southern counties drop earlier as well.

Awesome finds so far guys, maybe i will make a thread this year. I need to work on taking better atl's as well.

Hey y'all.... heading for Iowa tomorrow afternoon for a 2 all day shed hunts. I can't wait!!!! I will post lots of ATL pics and final pile pics!

Not sure where u will be, but the Iowa Deer Classic is this weekend in Des Moines. I believe the 2 possible new state records from this year are supposed to be there. Lots of vendors there too and some decent deals.
