How high is the upside down barrel off of the ground roughly?

Rick went to bed, but I think it's around 5 foot.

How high is the upside down barrel off of the ground roughly?

Mine is about 3 1/2 foot to the top of the upside down/closed end of the barrel. No coon has got by it since it was installed about a year ago. I used one of those round totes
that have the rope handles with the lip and plus about 2" cut off so there was nothing left for them to get a grip on.

Bottom of the barrel (closest to the ground) is about 30". Top is about 48".

I'm thinking about putting out some life jackets for them.

I'm pretty sure my trophy rock has found itself without a paddle.

I'm pretty sure the water washed it away. I put it in a different spot this time on top of a stump, but the water came up pretty damn good last night. I should've know better...oh well. I haven't gone to look yet, I ain't going down and slopping around.

I've seen 2 fresh TRs on the neighbors while walking fence lines. I'm going to keep track on them since they're so close and undoubtedly effecting my mineral game. Curious to see how they last and what pics I get of deer crossing over to their rocks.

Will have to check see whats going on with our minerals. We got more rain like that last year and seen more deer hitting the minerals. Havent gone out to check yet.

I put out a 50 lb bag of loose trace mineral salt in Feb and then put out a 50lb block in the same spot. The deer are starting to hit it pretty good especially the doe.

As I drove by one of my hunting spots and watched the deer feed in the middle of the day without a care in the world, I rolled down my window yelled at them and flicked them off!

went out to a spot where i have multiple wild apples and pruned them up, hopefully they produce a nice crop for the deer this year, only time will tell.

Put out a delicious concoction of corn and crushed TR and a camera to inventory how many bucks are still carrying. Also scouted Cabela's for new armaments with which to harvest them

Refreshed with 50 lb bags of trace minerals today. Cams hung.

Put out a salt block and a trace mineral block a week ago this past Friday. Swapped a card off the camera looking over it and the does have found it and are really pounding it. No bucks shed or still carrying have visited it yet though....uggh.

. Always seems to be that the doe start hitting it a little earlier in the year than the bucks do.
