Didn't weigh it but it was around 140# I would say . It was 6' 11" long . That was was biggest one we got from Louisiana . We killed some bigger ones in Texas though including two over 200# .

Louisiana has a whole bunch of gar . But getting one over 7' isn't as common as Texas . But they have a boatload of 6-7 footers .
