It’s about the least amount of recoil you can get. Or are you talking about distance? Which I believe you hunt side by side with him, so I’d argue that about you knowing what’s behind his target.

More or less the overall size of the gun. Just seeing if he can shoulder it when its on the rest. Last year he was barely big enough for the rossi to reach the trigger

Go look at one...or maybe I’ll just bring this one up next time and we can meet at Nate’s. Then he can shoot it. I don’t need a scope to test fit a kid.

Any longer range shooting with it? Out past 100 yards?

I have not shot the 350 but my two 357 max loaded with the load i'm using with a 180 gr bullet 1" high at 100 and zero at 150 and groups under 1" at 150 yds. My daughter-in -law killed the only deer she shot with it at 140 yds, pinwheeled him and he went less than 20 yds. There is NO lack of energy and killing ability to 150 for sure. I would have no concern on any chest area hit, through the shoulder bone or not, it's a done deal.

One difference is the factory ammo I see for the 350 is a 150 gr bullet. I preferred the 180 gr. in the Max that I used for added downrange performance. I just increased the giddyup to get the FPS into the 2350 range, recoil is extremely light. I think anyone would be happy with the 350 and I'm guessing there will be some heavier loads in the near future. I have no idea how the terminal performance will be with the 150 gr bullet they are using. Not all bullets are created equal.:D

I am looking forward to reading your results as you shoot and hunt with the new 350

I just picked up a Bear Creek Arsenal .350 upper very reasonable because the guy was having feeding issues. But in talking to him he wasn’t using .350 mags but .223 mags that he had altered. I ordered 2 .350 mags from cmmg. We will see if I can make it run.🙏🙏

I just bought a ccmg kit to covert my .223 to 350 Legend. It's all together, just need to get some ammo and shoot. Eventually, I will build a complete upper for it, so I can just swap .225 and 350 out.

What’s your all in cost in the conversation Greg? I was thinking similar but haven’t investigated yet so maybe you can simplify it for me.
