Little buck just chased a doe by. First buck I’ve seen pay attention to a fire in Ohio this year.
Had a small 6 at 20 yards this button and a skin head. Saw a few tails as i was settling in.
Temperature is good, breeze is chilly.
Back in the stand early. See whats shaking out here. Nice steady breeze, cool, and sunny.
My phone just sucks the battery if I tried live up to the moment updates and footage while hunting so I thought I’d just add my hunt from yesterday now.
I hunted new set yesterday and was settled in at 7:30 and climbed down at 6:40. Saw deer off and on all day with a couple 1 hour lulls between 11:30-3:30. Had 22-23 deer sightings throughout the day with half being within shooting range from my tree both up and downwind and crosswind of course. Had 3 bucks in the 2.5-3.5 age class all walk through the same shooting window at 30-35 yards and several does much closer inside bow range. I had just a couple deer get a little squirrelly on my downwind side but they eventually walked off not knowing where or what I was and eventually came back through relaxed.
Had a great first all day sit of the season and thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Incidentally, one of the target deer I am after this season and the only one I have gotten on camera so far on the farm hit a scrape that I pass to and from my stand less than 5 minutes before I swapped the card on my way out. It’s also the first I’ve gotten him anywhere close to daylight so he’s starting to expose himself a little more.

My cousin and I doubled up on does this morning.
I'm in...6 pt just stood up 30 yds from me. Must been quiet on my approach.

Same here, been in for a couple of hours. Just had a lone button come through. Mom must be out whoring around.
9 doe 3 bucks..... keeps blood pumping.
Ended up seeing 7 and had a two doe and 2.5 old 8 cruise through shooting lanes inside 20-25 yards. Saw two other bucks but they were out of range.

After seeing the two 8 pointers and two does this morning....it got quiet until around 4:00 when a spike came in. A half hour before dark, a doe came in along with a real nice 8. The eight never offered a shot and went down into a ravine. Five minutes later all hell broke loose. Branches breaking, grunting, bawling. Something was going on down there! I was able to sneak out at dark. Try it again tomorrow.
Had a dandy 10 at 20 yards tonight. Thought it was going to happen but no shots offered. Thought about squeezing one off but the shooting lane was pretty much non existent where he stood so he will live to see another day. Had 2 does in front of him but he didn't act to interested.
Well so far friday I went out to the stand. I got to see a big buck at 90 yards of other side of property 10 mins before dark. He was limping a bit. 10 mins later somebody out there on other property had head lights on so they were out looking for that buck. Apparently, from the look of that buck, he'll lived. He wasnt seriously injured. I grunted at him and got him to stop at 90 yards and was hoping he would come onto my property. Then a few seconds later he ignored me and walked off.
Today, I went back out and didnt see anything until 10 till 6:05 . I was about to pack up and something told me not to yet. I turned around and there was a big bodie deer at 90yard of other side of property I couldn't see the head really well if it was a buck or doe. So, I had hope that deer would come around toward me but didnt. Deer was just walking by. So, I hurried up to get the fugg out quietly. So, I'm getting closer. This week should be fun.
