I'm in, and like it simple, just my $.05
5pts for a doe (# up to states legal limit, including urban tags (controlled hunts))
5pts for a buck + 1pt for each point
5 x-tra pts for a buck + camera pic (1x chance)
5 x-tra pts for taking a youth hunting (1x chance)
I see this as a deer hunting contest. A contest to compete against other hunters (in a friendly fashion) for the overall number of deer taken by the team. A buck is above and beyond and the extra things for measuring, weighing, etc should be done when doing a buck contest. When I was growing up, it was always "how many points", not "did it score over 140"?"lmao
Some of us will be happy to harvest one deer:smiley_clap:! Many of us are going to drop the first buck we see as we're hunting small land tracts, public land, or just want to fill a tag/freezer. Many of us do not have 100+ acre tracts to hunt, so filling those doe tags should not be hard for those who do.
