I used a fairly inexpensive Wagner sprayer and set up a ‘paint booth’ in the unfinished part of the basement since it is cold outside. I did ever so slightly thin the paint even though the sprayer instructions say it is not necessary. Some stuff on YouTube says you get a better quality job if you do thin it a touch. I roughed it up with some 220 sandpaper, sprayed a coat of primer, then a couple top coats. I am really happy with how it came out. Looks store bought.Looks awesome man. What paint and process did you use on that cabinet? Did you take it outside and spray it?
That’s next years plan. This year it’s a burn pitNice place for a garden.
I’ve got a shit ton of dirt from some trenching that’ll be my backstop within the week. I’ll post the final results of it when it’s completed. It’ll be about 65-70 yards when complete.Looks good "J"... You'll be able to shoot off your deck..
@5Cent mind if I ask what they got for the rental for future reference?
Awesome. I’ve got my buddy Kevin here with me, here been here for 3 weeks and we have his Cub Cader/Mihendra 30 hp tractor with a woods backhoe attachment. We’ve been using the hell outta it. We have the bush hog and rake and back blade as well. All will be used until mid April between myself and another buddy Rick. We’ll return, and help him clear his property up in Ohio when we take it back.11K mini with 24" toothed & 48" smooth ditch bucket, and trailer was $266/1 day/8hrs. The weather played nice, the machine was able to handle bigger tasks than I had hoped, and mamma was good with watching the boys an extra day so I went for 2 days after confirming no problem doing so with my buddy. Shouldn't be the full amount for day 2 since the trailer will be back in 1 day, but add on the diesel (will burn about 20-22gals it looks like) and all in will be $550-$600. No way I could have paid someone to do it
Seems like the winds won’t allow me too do this. Been breezy the last week. I’d like too whittle some of mine down...A great day to burn some treetops without burning down my woods. View attachment 98330
It’s taken 2 gallons of Diesel and 6 Nattys so far.Natty!
