Got another project that I've been working on for a little while buttoned up today. Took a chest freezer and turned it into a keezer that will hold 2 corny kegs of home brew. Here is the freezer that we started out with.

First step was remove the lid and build a 2x4 wood frame to put on top. This will allow for CO2 hose, temp control, and taps to enter and exit without drilling through the freezer.

The 2x4 frame was siliconed down to the top and then a bead was ran around the whole inside corner. Then wrapped the frame with some foil backed bubble insulation.

Final step before reinstalling the lid was to wrap the top of the frame with some sheet metal so the magnet on the door will have a true seal.

Now all that's left is to keg the beer that's sitting in the fermenter.

I finally hung my 600/1300# hoist from my garage ceiling IBeam today. I might get in touch with a deer this fall to try it out. My daughter took a high ride today with push button ease.

I picked up a layout welding table recently at auction for my shop. It’s cleaning up nicely. Probably goes 500# so I bought some wheels for it.

Simply Man stuff. I’m into deer, Model A’s, and Chevy II’s. I’m getting older and my wife hates helping me so I’m becoming more proficient.

The next generation of kids have found their way onto our camp property and have turned it into their new 4 wheeler riding area. Time to reinforce the fencing and gates. Painted up the 8” well casing F.U. Orange. We’ll see if holds up to their abuses.

My wife grew up in a house with a storm door between the house and garage, so she wanted that here. I like that it has the screen built in and we can use it to get air flow through the house by cracking the outside door on a good west wind. Makes the garage feel a touch bigger and it makes it easier to keep tabs on the girls if they're playing outside while we are inside.

Good idea. Just a heads up. Steel entry doors are required for garages due to their ability to act as a fire brake. Garage fires happen and spread quickly due to accelerents being stored there.

Probably a good idea, but there's no building codes in this neck of the woods. If we need to take it off to pass an inspection for a sale, that's a 45 minute job.

Another option is a screen door on a roller. Pulls out and a magnetic strip holds it when extended. It’s nice that it is out of the way at all times except for when you want the door to the garage open. Out of the way for bringing groceries in, etc.

I was thinking about going the other direction and adding ducts to my garage. Keep it closed up and temperature controlled after the barns done.

I priced the little room AC units the other day for shits and giggles. I'll probably had 2 more ceiling fans so I have 4 and that should move air good enough for our usage.

Bumped up our curb appeal today. Didn't go as smooth as I'd have liked, but it's in there and it functions, so we'll take it.
