They are really sick. Mom currently worse than dad. Mom is up to 5 lt of 02... if she hasn’t to be moved up on O2, she will be moved to a different room. Currently they are in the same room which is a blessing most patients do not have.

Our surgery center is re-opened and we are full steam ahead currently with every patient receiving a swab before their surgery. We were shut down for about 6 weeks and relocated throughout the health system.

Glad to hear you are not in there. A lot of the same people that treated my brother are still in the Covid unit and are now treating my parents. No idea how they deal with that stress.

Good news this morning from their doctor. Mom’s condition did not deteriorate any further during the night. She is on 5 lt of oxygen. As long as she does not require more, they will remain in the same room. The fact that she remained stable is fantastic! Dads numbers are about the same as yesterday. He still has a high temp but his lungs have not gotten any worse so that’s a definite positive. We are hoping they have gone as far as they will and will now start improving.
