9 am update. Had a really nice 8 come in to me at 14 yards. Not the one in after. Fed on corns then left down the hill. Momma doe and two fawn bucks at first crack and that’s about it. Had a squirrel fall out of a tree five yards behind me, scared the shit out of me about five minutes ago lol another all day sit coming at ya

I’m settled in. Dead wrong wind. I did burn some wood today so maybe that will cover me. Giles was at the house for a bit so I hope his stink didn’t get on me. Hoping to see Jr alive and well. I’d like to get some pics if he is. Old friend of my dad wants a deer so here I am hoping to only see some at a distance. Mason took his recurve and went to the gar hole. We will probably be tracking all night. Lol.

Olds age making reading TOO a challenge in the stand. I gotta wear these to read but can’t see the end of my arrow with them on. One more thing to deal with when a deer shows up.

Well guys after the last three days, spending 35.5 hours in the tree I am still deerless. Saw plenty of young bucks, hell even had my shooter come through and catch me off guard once. Also had a fox, a crippled squirrel lol and probably 30 does. Back to the grind tomorrow and have to work 4 12s. Hopefully it cools off this week and we get some snow back on the ground and things get active with my big bucks again but today they just didn’t want to move in daylight.... will keep ya posted
