My favorite show of all time started the following year...... This Week In Baseball with Mel Allen. I can easily hear the opening music and his one of a kind voice.

I have a terrible memory but remember almost every one of these plays and knew each player upon first glance.

How about The American Sportsman with Curt Gowdy & I think his name was Phil Harris?. Also Gaddabout Gaddis, the flying fisherman.
