First knee is repaired. ACL and meniscus. We're waiting on the other knee to see if she'll be good with one good knee. She had it on Monday and wants to chase squirrels in a bad way.View attachment 129221View attachment 129222
That's a great food choice imo.Hope she fully recovers soon! BTW, I feed my dogs the same food and have been for years. I have the same stainless steel feeding bowls for them as well.
Does she seem to be stressed? I know that will cause it as well.Lulu has been losing an excessive amount of hair lately. They all had fleas and I treated them with my usual stuff, but she's got me thinking about mange now. The other two seem to be shedding per usual, although Bailey's looks like hell. No changes in good and all appear to be feeling fine. Trying to brainstorm other causes given there's no vet trip planned and it won't happen until next week at the soonest.
Back in February/March Jax was shedding A LOT. I mean like combing out bushels daily. We would sweep at least twice a day and couldn’t keep up. Never to the point where it left bare spots in his coat or anything so I just chalked it up to what you’re saying, shedding his winter coat. Lasted a couple weeks and that was that. Noticeably thinner coat since and good to goShould be no stress. Same old routine, nothing new.
The shedding started 2-3 weeks ago and it could be she's "moulting" her thick winter coat. I don't see any lesions, sores, signs of mites, and the fleas are under control. I'll wash and comb her tonight before we leave for the weekend and see how she is when we get back.
