My camera was down for over a week and a half. Before that, I had 4 pics of him in daylight, but it was either the first or last ten minutes of shooting light. Only have two pics of him over the past two years where he is out and about in the middle of the day. Hoping this year the weather cooperates…last year that record heat we had didn’t help me any.

No, I leave Thursday early morning…Friday will be spent putting out golden acorns, stocking the blind and opening up my mock scrapes. Saturday will be day one of actual hunting. Hopefully it won’t take too long to get a shot at my target buck but I have hotel reservations for three weeks…if need be, I’ll come back for gun season.
