A lot of people don't have a primary care doctor and just go to the ER -
Those people are predominantly uninsured and a primary care doctor or urgent care won't see them without payment. Or they're trying to get opiates.

I’ve used the Dr on demand as tricare recommended it. No copay so far for using it. I’ve used it twice and the wife used it once. Will continue too use it for the routine stuff…I think the rise in urgent cares has helped tremendously in this. Obamacare really hurt the family dr practice and many of the old timers retired. I remember calling mine for a sick visit and their first available was 3 weeks out, now I just go to urgent care and I'm in and out. The last two times with the boys I just did teladoc online through our insurance providers recommended service. Never left the house and was done in 15 minutes and only had to wait 10. Prescriptions sent in and we were done.
Wonder what quantity of ivermectin is in it?U.S. health regulators cleared use of a Covid-19 pill from Pfizer Inc., the first drug that newly infected patients can now take at home to stay out of the hospital.
The authorization by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday permits doctors to prescribe the medicine to high-risk patients age 12 and older early in the course of disease, shortly after they develop symptoms.
The FDA said the drug, named Paxlovid, worked safely and would be an important tool in reducing hospital admissions and death.
The pill arrives as the Omicron variant spreads across the U.S. Researchers expect antivirals like Paxlovid would be effective against the new strain because of the way they work, but are waiting for studies to confirm their suspicion.
Both my board members that got it, got the Ivermectin infusion and both said you could feel it working within 2 hours. Why it's being demonized is beyond me and it certainly makes you question the conspiracy involving population control. One of my friends who is a retired pharmacist contracted Covid a couple months back. He worked up the right dosage of veterinary grade Ivermectin, administered it to himself and climbed to be symptom free within two hours. He is very well read on this entire Covid thing, is anti-vaccine as anyone I know. I have no idea why he chose veterinary grade Ivermectin, but he is a bright man and figured out what he needed, and was apparently correct.

Follow the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$If you look online you'll see a ton of information about how Pfizer's new pill is not even remotely the same as Ivermectin. Different molecular makeup, different pathways to enter the system, they interact different with the body etc. Plenty of doctors have assisted in news articles to dispel the myth that they're similar. What they often fail to admit is they do the same thing. They both act as a protease inhibitor. When questioned on this fact their only response is that ivermectin needs more research against covid. So let me understand. You trust and support a protease inhibitor that is newly invented with minimal research and zero longterm data, but you don't trust a protease inhibitor that has been around for generations and has been proven safe. Fucking quacks.

You do realize that polio killed like 1 in 3 people and maimed others. Covid kills .03 percent and of those, about 90% of those are elderly people with underlying conditions. Apples and orangesI have been watching this thread for months now. My 2 cents.
Political or not some have issues with vaccine but think about this, when the polio vaccine came out, people rolled up their sleeves and got the shot. There was no social media they just got the shot and we are much better off

As for this virus, I think the bigger issue is how it is impacting our health care options. Nurses and doctors are saying they are over run with cases.
My opinion, your choice not to get the vaccine, but don't fault the health care system if you get pushed to less than optimal care. The evidence so far has shown that a shot produces less symptoms. Yes - if you are younger than 50 more than likely you will survive like overcoming the Flu. But if you end up in ICU and I have some illness unrelated to covid, i expect to get the ICU bed before you. You had your chance to avoid this but chose not to. Your right not to get the shot, but now you are affected my right to health care by taking that bed/doctor/nurse to aid in your care.

I am so glad we live in the USA. We have the ability to debate this and the right to our own thoughts. I would rather live here than other country that tracks their citizens.
Thank you to the veterans that are reading this. You are my heroes even if you disagree with me. I love this country and the freedoms it gives to me. But I think we need to look at history to see how we approached previous illness and the way forward. More than likely this virus will become like the flu and less threatening as it mutates. But until that happens it will become a hot topic like getting the Flu shot. Some get the Flu shot others don't.
Yes - but people got the polio vaccine without researching the internet to find case studies like you stated. That's all I was trying to say in that statement. Not trying to debate which illness killed more people but how times have change where and how people get their information. You do realize that polio killed like 1 in 3 people and maimed others. Polio wasn’t politicized like Covid is today. Two different eras, and we didn’t think our government would mislead like they’re prone too do these days.Yes - but people got the polio vaccine without researching the internet to find case studies like you stated.
