Where’s his dog bed?😊

He's eaten them, every one of them  They DO NOT last, trust me in that, I've tried many times.

The concrete floor is lukewarm near the stove, plus he has his choice of either laying on the drop down rug right next to him, or on the sofa or on the recliner that I have in the shop just feet away from him in the photo but, he much prefers being right near the hot stove when it's this cold out. He does sleep on the sofa or the chair generally. He can roam where he pleases, it's his choice.

1:42 p.m. EDIT:

As an added side note; all three of them were abandon in the middle of nowhere. 'TieDye' was dropped off 6 years ago at my last place this time of the year in record sub-zero degree weather. 'Star', in the middle of January was being chased by a pair of coyotes in the middle of the night a few years back not far from my current place, and finally, 'Oreo', once again, was dropped off right in front of our current place right here in Ross Co. I have been rescuing animals for nearly 20 years and these three will most likely be my last. Two pits, and a portuguese terrier mix I do believe. All three of them have it made now and for the most part, all of them have been great dogs!

Been too buffalo a few times during winter, hard too believe this would be a record for that place. It gets hammered with snow a lot…

If you drive 90 you go right past the back of my property just east of Erie Pa. By this time of year the lake effect machine on their end is shutting down due to ice formation on the extreme and shallowing eastern basin. Also, for the city of Buffalo to be hit they need a southwest wind to catch the fetch.

This was a later season and the lake is still rather warm.

15 degrees and stiff wind yesterday. 45 and raining on a foot of snow today. Winter storm watch tonight 19 degrees and windy tomorrow here...

Back in the 70's the 2 day weekend before opening day of rifle here in Pa on that Monday we saw 78 degrees on Saturday. A big ice storm on Sunday and 18" of snow on top of that by the next day, which was the Monday opener. My buddy's dad found a small flock of turkey's frozen and dead in their roosting trees just below a ridge top. He had his Poleroid flip open camera with him and took some pictures. When he got off the mountain and back to camp they used the camp phone to call the Game Commission. turkeys were quite rare back then. It was on the Blue Eye gamelands in Warren county. The Warden came out and also took pictures and they ended up in one of the publications of the day.
