I had a buddy who used too drive backwards from my house too his. It was only 1/2 mile away but people would give him the WTF looksI drive in reverse to work everyday.
Same. It's a handy addition, but I'm still a mirror guy.I check it before I move and then it's mirrors.
Hooking up a trailer has become easier with the camera. If I’m in a position where I had too pull into a spot and have too back out (usually it’s the wife’s SUV) the camera on hers has a wide angle and you can literally see a car coming from either direction a couple of spots away. It’s a nicety, especially as I get older….Growing up on the farm and working on my dad construction crews I learned at a young age. Guess it’s just habit now backing up. I will say my truck has a back up camera and as much as I said I wouldn’t use it, I’ve found myself using it more and more and not watching my mirrors as much. I do love the camera for hooking up trailers. Curious how many of you guys have become reliant on the camera and neglect the mirrors?
Well, Phil. First of all. You have to have a truck made in the last 5-7 yearsAnother thread to ask who can back a trailer? That way we can flush out the liars and make fun of them.
No cameras on any of my trucks so mirrors it is.
Watch it folks! George is on a roll!!!
I won't own one of those for another 5 years or so.Well, Phil. First of all. You have to have a truck made in the last 5-7 years
Trailers are easy compared to wagons.Another thread to ask who can back a trailer? That way we can flush out the liars and make fun of them.
