Out for my first sit of the year before leaving to finish killing Honeysuckle the rest of the day. Its calm and quite.. Warm. Crickets are singing like crazy.. Feel like I should be putting the stalk on a turkey with this weather.
Crazy weather, but the bucks were moving. Good luck fellas.

Since I can’t ever sleep later than 2 hours before daylight I’m in. Like has been mentioned this is more of Turkey hunting weather than deer. 68*. Probably a quick morning since I’m working tonight. Good luck fellas
I took a short drive around the block moments ago and you would think that it was openin day of gun season based on the number of hunters I saw hitting the woods around here this mornin in Ross Co.

I'm in SW breeze, sitting a Pinchpoint- good luck everyone that remembered to change their clock and got out on time lol.

Take a drive around paint creek wildlife area. I just can't imagine taking a week vacation and spending thousands of dollars driving here from out of state, but thousands of guys do every year. Private land would be different. I drive by every day for work and its a different car in each pull off everyday. I guess eventually someone is bound to stumble upon a deer based on physics alone.

7 point cruising. Really quiet other than that.
Moved to a River bottom yesterday afternoon and back in this morning. Saw a WV 11 pointer yesterday and so far it is dead calm and quiet today. Except for the woodducks. They’re quite talkative today.

Oddly quiet this morning. Sitting a very tight transition to an open power line set that splits 3/4 ridges down the middle. Been in since quarter til 6. Had 2 small bucks on cell cam about 350 yards away from here this morning but no deer to speak of, seen in person this morning. A few more afresh scrapes opened up this last week in here and the guys across the power lines are done timbering. Should turn out to be a great week! Good luck to all who are out! EDIT: the split brow 10 point just dropped into this bowl. Gonna see if I can get some video!

First sit of the season . work has been a real drag. No deer seen yet , rutcation starts this week but thinking of spitting it up between the next 2 weeks . I'm likening those colder temps coming. Good luck

Working a 23 (thank you daylight savings and C shift this year lol), then off the next 2 days. Temps are dropping, absolute perfect wind the next 2 days. Pretty excited to get after it. Good luck to anyone out and about today.

Not even sure why I still do this. Obviously the herd needs to grow and this place sucks. I should be running a saw right now clearing this honeysuckle to improve habitat. Probably quit and go deal with leaves. @Boarhead is a liar.

They are cruising. Three bucks total and several does that don’t seem interested. Had a really nice 8 pt on the neighboring property at sunrise. Looks like this guy may have already ducked an arrow this year.
