Been following for years just posted in the ehd thread never could get connected... Anyway did you kill a deer @Spencie and how do I get to the pic? Congrats to everyone else that has connected and good luck to those like myself still trying
Wow, a fan? Or just in disbelief? Yes I actually killed an Ohio buck. First one in November since 2007. Not a giant but we have nothing close to a giant this year.

I've been following for years... You put your time in and enjoy it for sure just never seen a picture of a deer you killed this year. Saw where you were bored and on grandpa duty so figured I missed something
I had a fun season, many great hunts. Killed a 9 in WV opening morning and an 8 Sunday. Bored out of my mind now. Thankfully, WV rifle is Monday.

11/17/22 - 4-5:45PM EVENING HUNT

Video description:

I needed some firewood for the workshop because I ran out, so I headed to the other farm to continue cleaning up an acre of timber. Once I finished up with enough firewood to get me through a few days, I moved on over to the other side of the property, changed into my hunting clothes, grabbed my bow and took off for a quick evening hunt, sit #7 of the season for me.

Two antlerless deer showed up no sooner than when I first sat down within the stand. They stayed within 50 yards of me the entire time, mainly feeding out the picked cornfield. No other deer showed up and no arrow took flight.

Same time, same place tomorrow.

First time poster (been following this thread for several years).

Very uneventful season so far with minimal buck activity on what is usually a pretty good property. 5 straight sits without a single deer seen. Yesterday morning, around 0915, this buck we've never seen on camera gave me a clean broadside shot at 15 yards. Main frame 10 with a kicker below his right brow tine. Clean shot, ran about 80 yards and made for an easy track.View attachment 166384
Congrats he's a stud! I'm having the same season in my normal spot which has always been a great spot. I'm hoping for the same outcome as you ! I don't care if I only see one deer in that spot this season as long as it's a biggin 😁
