Wow, a fan? Or just in disbelief? Yes I actually killed an Ohio buck. First one in November since 2007. Not a giant but we have nothing close to a giant this year.
Snow is not the only thing falling!
Leaves have already fallen, and now something else just fell.

I've been following for years... You put your time in and enjoy it for sure just never seen a picture of a deer you killed this year. Saw where you were bored and on grandpa duty so figured I missed something

I had a fun season, many great hunts. Killed a 9 in WV opening morning and an 8 Sunday. Bored out of my mind now. Thankfully, WV rifle is Monday.

I needed some firewood for the workshop because I ran out, so I headed to the other farm to continue cleaning up an acre of timber. Once I finished up with enough firewood to get me through a few days, I moved on over to the other side of the property, changed into my hunting clothes, grabbed my bow and took off for a quick evening hunt, sit #7 of the season for me.
Two antlerless deer showed up no sooner than when I first sat down within the stand. They stayed within 50 yards of me the entire time, mainly feeding out the picked cornfield. No other deer showed up and no arrow took flight.
Same time, same place tomorrow.

Congrats he's a stud! I'm having the same season in my normal spot which has always been a great spot. I'm hoping for the same outcome as you ! I don't care if I only see one deer in that spot this season as long as it's a biggin

Beautiful snow dusted morning in Muskingham Co. Hoping to catch a cruising buck looking for one last estrous doe. Cold as all get out. Pretty sure one of my nipples just fell off but I’ll worry about that later. Good luck all.

Stick a broadhead out. Eventually something will run into it.
Decided to call it quits. I got out & spied a buck guarding a doe about 75 yrds up on a hilltop.
Heard a rooster for the first time in years. Wasn't even sure that was what it was honestly. Confirmed by the bobcat that trotted by with it.
