Not to brag, but DAMN this turned out good. Simple smoked spiral sliced ham. 4 hours at 250, hickory chips, spritzed with apple cider each hour and then glazed with a honey spice glaze for the last 45 minutes.

My BIL and I had a great day around his Lone Star offset today sipping, drinking and eating very well. Started at 8:10am and I left at 6:20pm. After a nice breakfast his wife made us we had a few beers at noon then started the pours of three nice bottles. We started with Blanton’s then Russels Single Barrel and then had some smashburgers off his hot plate over his firebox. He poured some brisket tallow on the plate and commenced to frying. It didn’t take him 7 minutes to have us some of the best burgers I’ve ever seen or had. We both smoked a Davidoff stubby and finished his bottle of Elijah Craig Toasted before pulling his two pork butts and my brisket off at 202 internal temperature. Both turned out awesome!!! Here’s how it went down:
