Half assed school? Come on man.
May have been a little strong, but they are the Cincinnati of the 2022 playoffs. Not knocking on UM, but if TCU was a playoff caliber team they should have destroyed UM. There is no way UM should have had a chance with 2 pick six and failing to score from the one and two yard lines. Yet, they still had a shot to win. TCU is going to be embarrassed by Georgia.

Michigan definitely were the biggest losers. Michigan had every catastrophic mistake possible to lose that game. Completely shit to bed against a half-assed team.
MIchigan played their worst game, TCU arguably played their best game. Georgia played mediocre and Ohio State played a good game. When better team plays terrible and the lesser teams plays great upsets happen, thats why they play the game. Coaches going into games knowing they have to play their best game and other team has to make mistakes to win. I've been on both sides of this.

Does the opponent have something to do with how good or bad the other team appears to play? We all know they do, now mistakes are made, but the pressure of the game brought on by how the team you are playing is doing affects how you play. Perfect example, OSU kicker who is a solid kicker, feels the pressure try's to kick it harder and blows it. Like everyone says that is why they play the game, the championship game will be fun to watch, just as the last two games were.

I would imagine kicking a field goal is similar to shooting a deer with compound or an at bat, you have a process, focus on fundamental movements like anchor points, arrow placement, etc (which each person does in their process) then let it fly.

TCU played Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship game and it was real struggle ball, went to OT and Kansas beat TCU with a FG. Bama slammed Kansas 45-20 and could have hung 50+ on them, yet TCU ate Michigan's lunch. A different person may use that as an excuse to advocate for an 8 team playoff. I'm saying Bama is gonna be a beast next year.

But, but your saying it’s a struggle to survive the “grueling” SEC conference and championship when these teams you name are losing their bowl games. 🤔

I’m gonna LMFAO if TCU pulls off the upset! They probably won’t but I sure hope it happens! You wanna talk about shocked and depressed faces in the stands?!?!

Walbridge oh
Take the bullshit calls from the officials away from both games and we would have two big ten teams playing for the national championship.

Regular season is a grueling struggle and the variety of championship teams that come out of the SEC shows that. As well as the quality of players they send to the NFL. The seniors don't give a damn about a bowl game, add in the transfer portal players and theres no benefit to play, just risk. Bowl games become a spring practice game with next year's players. if it's not a title shot game, it's not worth it.

Even still though the SEC holds it's own in bowl games. This is 2010-2019. I'll have to find one with 21 & 22 seasons.

I don’t see this bowl season up there. Past seasons, you have a point but times have changed and this year your SEC championship team and NC contender won because the OSU kicker missed a very makable kick in the final seconds playing in front of a hometown crowd!!! Lmao

Always something else to point to. Times have changed. It's over. Etc. Hear it every year. I'm still waiting for the "The dynasty is over" statements, and the "Bama has had a good run but it'll be over" statements that I've been hearing for the last 8 years to be true. 😅.

You say "very malleable kick" I say it was 50 yards, which is 4 yards longer than his seasons longest, and a yard longer than his career longest. I remember him whiffing a critical 38 yarder against Michigan state. Had States defense not allowed 187 yards and 18 points in the fourth quarter, the Buckeyes wouldn’t have been in a position to need his leg. He would have missed that one form 20 though. 😅.

As it's stands now it looks like the natty will head back to the SEC for the third year in a row and the 4th time in 5 years. Didn't we get rid of the BCS to prevent this?
