J..... Might be a stupid question.... BUT... Did he purchase a plan???? I know Spypoint gives you 100 pics free every month... So maybe, just maybe he forgot to purchase a plan... Just trying to cover all the bases... If when all is said and done if it don't work.... Tell him to file it in a garbage can and just buy a Spartan and don't look back...

He’s had the camera a couple years so he’s got the unlimited plan. Said he received a couple pictures overnight. So it’s sending them now.

Good to hear.. Usually they check in with the server once a day... So maybe it did and that got it sending again...

I run a # of these Winghome solar panels. They're pricey, but it's a set & forget setup. I'm still running a couple that have been out since last June. I have a Tactacam solar panel as well. There's no need to have batteries inside the cam. Also, Spypoint Micro LTE solar cam is very good. Just buy it when on sale.

Has anyone had any luck with the solar panels that have built in batteries working with a cell cam ?
I have been using the Tactacam solar panels on 3 of my cameras. They work very well for my situations and get sunlight for most if not all of the day when it is out. It is all about demand though as one camera that gets a lot of squirrel activity occasionally starts showing lower battery when the sunlight is nonexistent. This means it is working off of internal batteries I installed in the battery tray as back-up. At that point I adjust settings to turn videos off and the solar panel usually catches up on a good sunny day and I am back in business. For other cameras in the woods my plan is to do something like Joe mentioned and go with an external battery.

I use wyze & blink for security. I would like to extend my wifi range off of my modem if anyone has any ideas.
WiFi booster? When we were looking at em for our new place, I saw some that were used for extending out for barns and outbuildings. One was out too 1k feet if memory serves me right….

Just purchased another REVEAL X during their holiday sale. I'm now a proud owner of (4) four Tactacam REVEAL cellular trail cameras.

I should receive the camera next week.

None of the other three REVEALs have been out of service ever since I placed them afield last July of 2022. They have remained fully operational ever since.
