Lost my confidence with compound two years ago and went to crossbow. Harvested a deer with it last year and it was just as rewarding to me. And what Giles said.

I got rid of my compound last year and got a micro 335 nightmare. Love it.

Couple of nice ones!

Here is my setup. I meant to post it the other day. The three hives on the stand are all I intended to have this year.

My only guess would be they don't have the resources to fill out the super right now?? only my biggest hive is touching the honey super I put on and it's taken them a month to fill out 2 frames. I think we're in a dearth pretty bad where I'm at, I noticed two of my hives dragging out drone...

Have they been bearding any since closing them up? Or clogging up the entrance any?

That turned out good! I would bet that ups there chance of surviving the winter quite a bit.
