Cell cams are blowing up with activity from small bucks. Nothing in view all morning.

Just saw a possible shooter or bully 100 yards out going away. 10 yards from the ladder stand I walked by. It’s good to know some things never change.

I’m not afraid to shoot a stranger that size. But when you raise them it’s a little different. Not saying he’s 100% safe either. I’m hoping he breaks his rack like he has the last 2 years. lol

The 3 year old 10 I’ve let go 3 times just chased a doe down the point. He’s not going to survive if he doesn’t stop this nonsense. A two year old 8 joined the party.

That’s a great buck, especially for a first one. Congrats

Wait? What’s the official ruling on teasers if you are posting a pic of your own harvest? At most after 15 minutes you have to come clean. Congrats on your first of many.

I saw 12 this morning. 3 bucks. The video I posted was wideload chasing a doe. She got away from him when he got his rack hung up in the brush. If you turn the volume up he grunted at the end of the video. He’s tempting but not yet. Hoping for something better which may not exist here this...

I had deer running in front of me and a 4 year old 9 behind me on cell cam in the dark. I rattled in a doe and then a spike picked her up and ran her off. A doe and fawn just crossed below me. Off to an active start. Good luck mens.

I also found this while walking by our alfalfa field. Only blood I found but I didn’t spend much time searching.

Worked my 2 nights in November and now I’m off until December 2. Still nothing great on cam so this stranger 9 point that just showed up is the hit list. He won’t make 140 but I need a reason to sit here. The problem is there are 2 resident 9s that are also lefty’s that I don’t want to shoot...

    Favorite store

Not much to choose from for us. I have heard River’s Edge near Athens is a good store but the service can be great or awful. I haven’t been in it yet.

I’m about to make my own set of rules governing predators in Ohio. This bobcat is 10 yards away in the pic. I knew he was around because of the nut lickers throwing a fit. After 10 minutes I look down and he’s directly under the stand. He was in full stealth mode. That’s #4 this year.

Apparently, the squirrel rut takes place on pine trees. Up and down, round and round, back and forth, over and over. Just hold still for him! Good grief.
