Welp fell asleep in the chair as soon as I got home so no lattes for me. Ran back out around 3 to a guy parked in my best spot . Said screw it and headed back to the back corner at the other place since it's at least a good spot for this northeast wind. Oh wait our weatherman couldn't tell the wind direction even if Oprah Winfrey queefed in their face , complete wrong wind hitting here from east / southeast. Gonna see what happens anyways to far of a walk to go back now lol. Good luck to everyone out this evening!

The deer i want to kill was less than .5 mile out at daylight with 6 other deer 1 other buck. One doe seemed like shed been passed around and he stopped guarding her from the other buck. They eventualy made their way into the wood lot 1mile from my house at 830am. So i worked. One single buck came out at 5ish started west across the cut corn prairie. He had a touch of north in his step. I grabbed the xbow and walked to my lane. A tractor spreading fert was n this field. The deer seemed to be heading west so i walked home. Watched him head west way across the section but still looking north. He stopped and begain northeast again but fast. So grabbed the bow again and did my best sprint across the cut corn in rubber boots. Made it 160yds then the last 40yds behind cover was a burning chest heavy labored fast walk...not sure if i was busted or not i set up. I caught glimpse of a deers back in the tree line. O ya keep coming bud. Got set up for a shot. Suddenly the 4.5 yr old i watched this morning magicly turn into a 2.5 yr old at 30 yrd. Wrong deer. Come to find out im not too out of shape but need a freaking guide worthy spotting scope looking at deer a mile away.
