Took my lil bro out last night. It was experience I won't forget even though we saw 0 deer. He made noise the whole time! He brought his game boy thing but the battery died 5 minutes into the hunt haha. He tried to keep himself busy but every thing he did he made a bunch of noise doing. I looked over once and he was trying to start a fire with two sticks. Then I looked over and he had a 4 foot stick he was waving around in the air hitting trees. I handed him my Iphone which kept him quite for awhile. But I took it away from him when prime time came. we never did see a deer. But I would say the neighbors yelling and firing up a chainsaw every 10 min had something to do with it. He had fun but I wish we could have seen a deer to spark his intrest a little bit. He's not showing the interest yet. when I was his age I was hunting with dad all the time. He is more worried about soccer and video games. It will come I guess just give it time.

Nope, she was quartering away, entry was in middle left side, angling right towards heart in front. Rage went through stomach, lung and into heart, then came out and just kissed off on the opposite side rib cage. I'm only shooting 60lbs, but penetration was not nearly what it was with the Muzzy's. A lot had to do with the angle and amount of resistance it encountered on it's path.

I seem to see a lot of that with the mechanical heads.... but and there's always a but.... if you make a hole in the heart like that they don't go far....

I agree J. This was the very first time I've shot anything besides the old 3blade Muzzy. I am not 100% sold, and will let a few more fly (hopefully) before I make a switch for good.....in reality, it was the best thing the store had when I went looking for my Muzzys :)

I don't doubt they do the job when shot placement is right... Now where the shot placement runs awry a little that's where I see issues where as the muzzy or another fixed blade heads work much better.....
